The History of the World, as recorded in the Bible
(Different Civilizations and Kingdoms that existed from the beginning of the World)

I. World History for the last 6,000 years

The purpose of this article is to give a brief review of the important historical time periods of the world, by listing them in the proper Sequence, with in the time frame of the Bible Calendar, based on some of the following assumptions that the world was created in the year 4000 BC, referred as the Old Testament Times, followed by a time span of 33 years when Jesus Christ lived on the earth, followed by a time span of 2010 years since the death of Jesus Christ which period is referred as AD meaning, after the death of Jesus Christ.

It is mentioned in the Bible, that Jesus Christ will return back to this earth, at this time, establish his kingdom on this earth, and rule this earth for 1000 years, along with the saints of God, from the New Jerusalem, which will be in mid-air, and the saints of God during this time will be in their glorified body, before which there will be a period of tribulation for 7 years, when the anti-Christ will rule this earth, during which time the first 31/2 years everything will be well seemingly, after 31/2 years his true identity will be revealed. He would give every one living at that time what is called the mark of the beast, without which no will be able to buy or sell anything. Finally he will declare himself to be the Christ, sit inside the temple of Jerusalem, and issue a proclamation that every one should bow down and worship him.

Some where around this time Jesus Christ will return back to the earth and judge the sinners from a white throne, caste the Satan, and his followers in a bottomless pit which will be burning with fire and brimstone. After this period, the saints of God will live in heaven with God, for ever and ever. This is a brief summary of the end times of the world.

Concerning the end times of this earth, a clear picture is given, and what is more significant for us to note is the signs of the end times mentioned in the Bible (Mathew 23:33) to prepare ourselves to meet the Lord.

· Many shall come in the name of the Lord, saying they are Christ
· Ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars
· Nations shall rise against nations, and kingdoms against kingdoms
· There shall be Pestilences and Earth-quakes in divers places
· There will be Earth Quakes in divers places
· Then they will deliver you to be afflicted and shall kill you
· Ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake
· Then shall many be offended and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another
· Many False Prophets shall rise and deceive many
· Because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold
· But he that shall endure unto the end , the same shall be saved
· This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached into all the world for a witness unto all nations, and then shall the end come
· There shall arise false Christs and false prophets and shall show great signs and wonders….and shall deceive the very elect.

· The beginnings of civilization in the Eurasian world ( 3500- 1500 BC)

· The Near East, 1600 to 1000 BC
· Peoples of South America and the Caribbean, 300 BC to AD 1300
· Peoples of Mesoamerica, 300 BC to AD 1300
· Peoples of early North America 300BC AD 1300
· The beginning of Chinese civilization to 475 BC
· Korea to 1932
· The beginnings of Indian civilization to 500 BC
