Governing Principles for our Life

in, to be of utmost importance for the Welfare of the people, Peaceful
Co-existence, Harmony in Society, Justice to prevail etc.

of all groups of People living all over the world.
-

through Voluntary Consent or Agreement, Indoctrination or Legal Action
2.
WHAT ARE VALUES?
Values may be called as follows:
3. WHY
SHOULD WE INSTILL GOOD VALUES INTO THE MINDS OF THE PEOPLE?
-
In order
to have Justice and Fairness
-
In order
to have Harmony and Order
-
In order
to have Peace and Tranquility
-
In order
to maintain Decency and Decorum
-
In order
to give everyone an Equal Opportunity
-
In order
to maintain a higher Standard of Life
-
In order
to avoid being Rude, Barbaric and Monstrous
4. HOW
SHOULD WE INSTILL UNIVERSAL VALUES?
-
By making
a set of Rules
-
By
entering into an Agreement with the concerned persons
-
By having
Briefings and Sessions with the concerned persons to indoctrinate them
with the true purposes and values
-
By having
Question and Answer Sessions on various matters and issues pertaining to
various issues and their ramifications
-
By clearly
communicating the purpose of Sports and Games, and emphasizing the
importance of sticking close to them, and stating the serious
consequences for violating them
5. HOW
SHOULD WE ENFORCE THE UNIVERSAL VALUES?
-
By
engaging Neutral persons to Monitor, Regulate and Control
-
By
imposing Penalties and Fines
-
By
Suspending and Barring those who violate the rules
-
By
Litigation or Legal Enforcement
-
By making
the Rules clear to start with and to get Voluntary Consent to abide by
them
6. AN
EXAMPLE - PUBLIC SPORTS AND GAMES (Particularly
in which a lot of Money and Popularity is involved) 7.
THE VALUE OF "SPORTSMANSHIP" - The conduct of the Players and
the Sportsman
-
Sports and
Games are conducted to entertain the public, display the skills of the
players, to provide a career for the players, and to earn an income,
etc.
-
Those who
violate the rules including the audience, who come to watch should be
warned, disciplined, fined, suspended or sued, if they indulge in any
indecent or violent activities or emotional outbursts, when the team
they support, loses points or the game itself.
-
Those who
conduct Sports and Games publicly as a profession, should adhere to
much higher standards of behavior
-
The
Concept of Sportsmanship should be clearly articulated and
communicated to all concerned, to indoctrinate them, so that they will
abide by the rules and regulations. It should be stressed and
considered to be more important to maintain their image, stature and
popularity, rather than to win and get the fame and money.
-
The values
discussed in this article have much broader applications in different
kinds of life situations and relationships including work, home,
society, marriage, business, politics, profession, etc.
