I. JESUS REALIZED THAT HIS END WAS APPROACHING AND MADE SOME IMPORTANT STATEMENTS Jesus looked up and said to His Father and said, Father, "the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee." Jesus also acknowledged that since His Father had given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as possible. Jesus realized and expressed that how important it was for everyone to have Eternal Life, by knowing the true God and His Son whom he had sent. Jesus said that He glorified God on the earth and finished the work which God the Father gave Him. Jesus acknowledged that He gave the people every word that His Father gave Him, and further He added that the people received the word, and knew that surely He came out from the Father, and that they believed that His Father in Heave sent Him into the world. Jesus also affirmed that He prayed for them, and not for the world, because His Father had given them to the Him, and therefore He said that they were his people. Jesus said that all that was his was of His Father, and all that the Father had was His, and He was glorified in them. Jesus said let the people be one as we are one. Jesus said that he kept everyone that His Father gave Him, did not lose any, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled. Jesus said that since He was coming to His Father he spoke all those things, so that they might have His joy fulfilled in themselves. Jesus said that when He gave them His word, the world hated them, because they were not of the world. Jesus prayed that the Father should not take them out of the world, but that He should keep them from the evil. Jesus said that as He was sent into the world, He also sent them into the world. Jesus said that He sanctified Himself so that they also might be sanctified through the truth. Jesus said that they did not pray for them alone, but for others also which shall believe on me through their world; Jesus desired that they all may be one; as His Father and Himself are one, so that the world may believe that His Father in Heaven had sent Him. II. SUMMARY Jesus had a close and personal conversation with his Heavenly Father who sent Him into this world to declare His name and love for them. Jesus acknowledged with a sense of success that His mission was complete and fulfilled, and that was ready to return back to His Father in Heaven. - THE END - |
