The Wages of Sin is the Curse of God and Death: Sin may be defined as Disobedience or Violation of God's Law or an Evil Act The same Loving and Merciful God punishes man severely and mercilessly when he commits a Sin In the following passages we can see that the Wages or Penalty of Sin has been Death, Curse and Separation from God Therefore, we should know that our Holy and Righteous God, hates Sin. Therefore, we should be aware of the fact that Sin will not only cause a cleavage between us and God, but will also subject us to the some severe Curses, Penalties are Dire Consequences! The Background of Satan It is important to know a little bit of some of the thins that were in existence and in operation in the heavenly realms, which was and has been God's abode. Even though some of this information is given in the book of Ezekiel and other Old Testament books, we should know briefly, the following facts: Lucifer was given the maximum Beauty, Power and Status Because of Pride, Lucifer wanted to ascend even above God, and committed the act of Treason God in his infinite Wisdom and Knowledge, discerned what was going through the mind of Lucifer, and cast him out of heaven Along with Lucifer, one third of the angelic forces, followed Lucifer and they are called as 'Demons and Devils' It is interesting to note that, numerically speaking, the total number of Angelic Beings far exceed the number of Human Beings, that ever lived and are living on the planet earth Lucifer has been Rebelling and Plotting against God, to defeat all of His Plans The Intervention of Satan in the Life of Adam and Eve When God created Adam and Eve, in a form above the angels, in His own image and His likeness, and put them in the Garden of Eden, giving dominion over all the earth, Lucifer was determined to cause this relationship between God and man to be broken Lucifer came to the Garden of Eden in the form of a Serpent and Lied about the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, saying that if they would eat the fruit of that Forbidden Tree, they would become like God's Adam and Eve were deceived by Satan, even though they were personally responsible for deliberately and knowingly disobeying God's order by eating the fruit of the Tree of Life As a consequence of this disobedient act of Adam and Eve, God cursed both Adam and Eve severely, and chased them out of the Garden of Eden to live on their own The Curse of God upon Adam and Eve
