THE BOOK OF RUTH

"Where you go I will go, and where you Stay I will Stay.
Your people will be my people and your God my God.
Where you die I will die and there I will be buried" 
(Ruth 1:16-17)

II. THE CONTENT OF THE BOOK OF RUTH
1. Ruth was a Moabite and Canaanite
2. The role played by Noami in proposing to Ruth, her widowed daughter-in-law to marry 
    Boaz
3. Eligible Kinsman-Redeemer 
4. The implicit obedience of Ruth in marrying Boaz
5. Boaz and Ruth has a son named Obed
6. Obed had a son called Jesse, whose son was David
 
 
CONCLUSION
The greatest significance of this book is the fact that through the marriage of Boaz and Ruth the lineage continued to King David and eventually to the birth of Jesus. Even thought it may seem as something happening as an accident, it was the plan of God and it all happened through a series of events and paved the way for the birth of Jesus Christ as predicted and prophesied in the Bible.

The greatest lesson that we can learn from this book that as we take the Godly counsel and be open and submissive to the will of God everything will take place in our life according to God's plan and will and for our blessing!
