THE WISE AND THE FOOLISH

"Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them,
I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock "  (Matthew 7:24)
 
"And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not,
shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand; (Matthew 7:26)

I. INTRODUCTION
Jesus always classified people as the Wise and the Foolish. But we attempt to classify people as follows:
  • Rich and Poor
  • Educated and Uneducated
  • Civilized and Primitive
  • Strong and Week
  • Good and Bad
  • Bold and Timid etc.
I. WHO IS A WISE PERSON ACCORDING TO THE BIBLE?
1. The one who fears God
2. The one who hears the Word of God and Does it
3. The one who Gets Saved by accepting the Lord Jesus Christ
4. The one who gets the Revelation knowledge of the Word of God
5. The one who Wins Souls
6. The one who is Ready for the Coming of the Lord
7. The one who Obeys the Word of God
8. The one who Believes the Word of the God and acts upon it
9. The one who Appropriates the Promises of God by Faith Meeting the Conditions
10. The one that Grows in the Wisdom of God
11. The one who Values and Receives the Wisdom of God
12. The one who is Spiritually Minded
 
II. WHO IS A FOOLISH PERSON ACCORDING TO THE BIBLE?
1. The one who Does Not Serve God
2. The one who Does Not Win Souls or Serve God
3. The one who Hears the Word and Does not do it
4. The one who Serves the World (Mammon)
5. The one who is Carnally minded
6. The one who Does not Believe in God
7. The one who Does not Obey the Word of God
8. The one who Lives in Sin, because the Wages of Sin is Death
 
III. WHY SHOULD WE BECOME WISE? (PROVERBS 3)
1. To be Happy
2. To be able to get all that we Desire
3. To live a Long Life
4. To be Honored
5. To have Riches and Wealth
6. To walk in Peace
7. To Enjoy Life fully
8. To have Sweet Sleep
9. To have the Chambers filled with Precious and Pleasant Riches
10. To Appropriate all the Blessings of God
11. To Get Souls Saved
12. To have Eternal Life
13. To Enjoy Divine Health and Healing
14. To Enjoy Divine Prosperity
15. To have Divine Protection
16. To Win Souls
17. To Enter into the Kingdom of God
18. To be Rewarded in Heaven
19. To have all the Worldly People as our Servants

 
IV. WHY SHOULD WE NOT BE FOOLISH?
1. To Escape the Penalty of God
2. To Avoid Ending up in Hell
3. To Avoid Leaving their Wealth for Righteous
4. To Avoid Being the Servants of Wise
5. Not to violate God's Laws and commit Sins
 
V. HOW CAN WE BECOME WISE?
1. By Walking with Wise Men
2. By Studying or Hearing the Word of God
3. By Obeying the Word of God
4. By Receiving the Anointing of Wisdom
5. By Being Spiritually minded
6. By Getting the Revelation Knowledge of the Word of God
7. By Getting the Counsel of God
